i think the sunny weather has given me an itch to draw.

ive been working on some things. 

a lovely paper pinwheel wind farm just for you.

ive been working on the background for my rooster,

just a simple sky/land.

doesnt like me working so big. 

ive been working more on my rooster illustration.

ive got the figure mostly constructed, he just needs a few touch ups 

and some legs.

now on to the background. im trying out attaching paper to a canvas.

i think itll be easy enough to stitch through, and will be way more sturdy than

my usual paper or fabric backings.

ive been working on concept art for a monster carnival for freelance class.

its pretty awesomely fun.

im almost finished with the ticket booth for the main street.

cut paper with some little stitched cob webs.

so i did a little figure drawing in the studios today.

mr reusch and his mask and platform shoes were awesome.

im a little rusty in the figure drawing, especially in men, but it was fun.

freelance update

so this week has been busy busy busy.

i had to whip up three illustrations for freelance class

in pretty much one night - something i WOULD NEVER sign up for myself - 

but hey, i got them done. 

they came out pretty decent, and im putting the flying veggies and fruits one in my portfolio.

in other news, i got my business cards.

theyre pretty. having something physical in my hand with my 

name and telephone number on it makes me feel professional.

and i just ordered my postcards.

im getting 4 different ones, because i like options.

that way, if i dont like you - ill give you the one i like the least.

kidding. i love all my art equal. like a parent.

degree project piece 4

my first completely finished degree project piece.

AFTER LITERALLY TWO MONTHS - I have finally solved my drawing issues with my third 

degree project piece. Ive finished the figure. FINALLY.

i got a little carried away with the hair, so ill trim a little off the top when i attach her.

and the feather shapes will be embroidered. 

day 2.

ive been drawing just whats at hand.

that includes my salad container in the h&m break room.

ive committed myself to doing one sketch a day. i need the practice, and ive

found a lovely combination of moleskin and red mechanical pencil.

its amazing how a good combination of paper/tool can make me want to draw again.
