i have a background hanging around somewhere that one day ill put this little guy on.

so so so. 

i havent been able to force myself to deal with paper these days, however, i always have an itching need to keep my hands busy. 

so, ive been knitting like a fiend.

went through about 6 or 7 hats, learned how to knit cables, and now im working on a blanket map of the united states. 

slowly knitting my way through alaska, texas and florida currently.

if all goes as planned and i dont screw up majorly, itll look like this.

itll be yet another mish mash of color to clash with in my tiny little apartment -

which by the way is slowly turning into a lace/animal print/rainbow pattern/faux fur nightmare.

i think the sunny weather has given me an itch to draw.

after months of my mother telling me that i havent updated this thing -

ive been working on some things. 

a lovely paper pinwheel wind farm just for you.

so its been awhile.

but i am doing things, i promise.

ive been busy working on my quilt - sewing thousands of little squares together.

i now have 47 large squares of 16 little squares finished.

although, im not posting any pictures, because honestly, they are all pretty much the same.

tomorrow, im starting on the next 47, with a new combination of fabrics. so thatll mean

more cutting out squares then piecing them together. yay. ugh.

butt (typo, but it made me giggle like a 7 year old, so it stays), i did over calculate how many i need, so i will probably whip out some matching pillow shams and another mini wall sized quilt. 

in other news, i have not picked up a pencil in probably 3 months. i need to start my doodling exercises again. oh well. someday.
